Through our scientific work over the years, we have made some strong collaborations andpartnerships. Our trusted partners and collaborators consists of academic institutes and greatcompanies of the Greek food industry.
Established in 1930, Jotis S.A. is one of the greatest companies in Greek Food Industry. The Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry and TrAMS group has a devoted and efficient collaboration with Jotis S.A and also the Hellenic Research & Innovation Centre (HRIC) for more than a decade, realizing the company’s external Quality Control analysis of food products and also working together in several R&D projects. Our future collaboration plans also include the implementation of three newly-assigned RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE research programs.
Nireus Aquaculture S.A. belongs to Europe’s top ten aquaculture companies, with presence in Greece and Spain, while the exports exceed 35 countries around the globe. Our laboratory has a dedicated and continuing collaboration with Nireus Aquaculture S.A carrying out the company’s Quality Control of aquaculture products (fish, fishfeed, water) and monitoring a great variety of parameters (nutritional value, veterinary drugs, pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, among others).
DELTA S.A. was founded in 1952 and is one of the largest food companies in Greece. Our Laboratory has been collaborating many years with the Quality Control Department of DELTA SA and we have been performing multiple analyses concerning veterinary drug and antibiotic residue monitoring in the company’s raw material and final products. Moreover, we have established a fruitful collaboration with the R&D Department DELTA SA concerning the development of methodologies and models for the detection of fruit juice adulteration.
The Region of the North Aegean is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece, comprising the islands of the north-eastern Aegean Sea (Lesvos, Lemnos, Chios, Ikaria, Samos, Fournoi and three more small islands). It has been a trusted partner of our laboratory since 2018 and has funded the thorough and comprehensive research concerning North Aegean olive oil and olive products realized by TrAMS group through the research program entitled “Novel wide-scope research for the promotion of N. Aegean olive oil and olive products through the designation of their unique characteristics and bioactive content.
The Ministry of Rural Development and Food is the government department that oversees agriculture in Greece. During the last 5 years our lab has a constant collaboration with the Department of Animal Protection and Veterinary Drugs of the Ministry as it has been assigned as the National Reference Laboratory for coccidiostat determination in meat and eggs and also the Official Control Laboratory for all food products aiming to be exported to Russia.
E.F.E.T. is the principal Food Control Body in Greece. Our laboratory has a very effective collaboration with the Department of Food Analytical and Research Laboratories of Athens/Directorate of Laboratories through the research program “The Olive Roads”.
The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH – IESL) was founded in 1983. It is one of the largest research centers in Greece. Our laboratory collaborates with FORTH – IESL across the research program “The Olive Roads” and will also collaborate with the PRAXIS network in two newly-assigned RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE research programs.
The National Hellenic Research Foundation was founded in 1958. It is a non-profit Research Foundation supervised by the Ministry of Development and Investments in Greece. L.A.C. and TrAMS group collaborates with the Institute of Chemical Biology of NHRF through the Research program “ELAION” – Study and exploitation of olive oil as innovative raw material for special industrial applications to baby food products”.
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AuTH) – our laboratory has a productive collaboration with the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki within the Research program “FoodomicsGR-Molecular characterization of food”.
The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) fulfils many tasks in the area of food safety. Our lab collaborates with BVL Berlin in EURL Proficiency Testing and also in Collaborative Trials for the determination of coccidiostats in meat and eggs as our lab is the National Reference Laboratory of Greece for coccidiostat determination.
